Shetland Councillors make submission to Accounts Commission
Councillors have this afternoon made their submission to the Accounts Commission, ahead of the Public Hearing which will take place in the Town Hall on 28th and 29th June.
Convener Sandy Cluness commented “Part of the arrangements for the hearing is that Councillors are able to provide a written submission, up to 4 pages in length. Councillors met last Thursday afternoon to discuss the content of the submission. That has been drawn together and is what’s been sent away today”.
All the written submissions will be made available on the Accounts Commission’s website, (http://www.audit-scotland.gov.uk/about/ac/shetland.php) a week before the hearing – 21st June.
