Ann Cleeves and Chris Stout at Shetland Library
Crime writer Ann Cleeves is back in Shetland in May to celebrate the launch of Blue Lightning, the fourth book in her bestselling Shetland quartet. She will appear at an evening event in Shetland Library on the 5th of May, supported by the acclaimed fiddler Chris Stout.
Ann has held launches in the Library for all the books in her Shetland series, and staff are delighted to be hosting this latest event. Proceeds from the evening are to go to the Vaila Harvey fund. Last year, Ann supported the fund by auctioning the name of a character in Blue Lighting.
Councillor Gussie Angus commented ‘The combination of a good Shetland story and fantastic Shetland music make this an exciting prospect’.
Tickets for the evening are £3 and will be available from Shetland Box Office from Friday, 23rd April.
