Interim Chief Executive Recruitment
The 7 member selection panel appointed by the Council to conduct the identification and recommendation of an Interim Chief Executive had its first meeting this morning (Thursday 8th April).
They conferred with Rory Mair, Chief Executive of COSLA by videoconference, and approved the next steps in the selection process.
Convenor Sandy Cluness said "It is good to see thismoving ahead promptly,we are optimisticthat we will identify a number of high qualitycandidates for this important role".
The panel will now meet regularly, with input from COSLA and their professional advisors, to move matters forwards.
It ishoped that a recommendation could be made to the full Council in early May.
