Your Chance to give your Views on Johnsmas Foy

Shetland Islands Council is undertaking a review of the Johnsmas Foy to find out how the event should be developed in the future.

Shetland residents and visitors are being asked to give their view on the event via a short, internet based online survey with the aim of informing the Council about The Johnsmas Foy and what should be done with it in the future.

You can take part in the short survey by visiting the SIC homepage (www.shetland.gov.uk) and following ‘The Johnsmas Foy Questionnaire’ link or by clicking here.

On behalf of Shetland Islands Council, Culture and Recreation Spokesperson Councillor Rick Nickerson said:

“During the two years when the Foy will not take place due to the Hamefarin this year and the Tall Ships visit in 2011, the Council will review Johnsmas Foy and make plans for how the event could be developed in future to make sure that the council is achieving best value from its events programme. I look forward to as many Shetlanders as possible participating in the survey”
