June and July Grant Awards
Local voluntary organisations throughout Shetland have been awarded a total of £83,233.00 in funding from Shetland Islands Council grant aid schemes towards a range of community projects and activities. In total 27 grants have been awarded during the months of June and July - see attached appendices.
The total cost of these projects is £211,105.82, with match funding of £127,872.82 being secured from other sources. These projects, which are managed by volunteers, significantly improve the quality of life for all living in Shetland and support the local economy.
