April Grant Awards
Local voluntary organisations throughout Shetland have been awarded a total of £4,500.00 in funding from Shetland Islands Council grant aid schemes towards a range of community projects and activities. In total 3 grants have been awarded during the month of April - see attached appendix.
The total cost of these projects is £23,678.38, with match funding of £19,178.38 being secured from other sources. These projects, which are managed by volunteers, significantly improve the quality of life for all living in Shetland and support the local economy.
