Waste Collection and Disposal

Waste collection in Shetland is operated by the Cleansing Department of the Shetland Islands Council. Waste disposal is operated by the Waste Services Department through the Gremista Waste Management Facility and Recycling Centre and the Energy Recovery Plant.
