Pay your rates online. You can now make payments to Shetland Islands Council via the Internet, using your debit or credit card. Just go to our Online Payments section and follow the instructions online.

Pay your rates by debit or credit card over the phone.  Payments by debit or credit card can be made by tel 01595 744626 or 01595 744627 during office hours. If phoning, please ensure you have all your card details, together with the reference number and amount of the bill you are paying.

Pay your rates by post or in person.  To the Head of Finance, Shetland Islands Council, Charlotte House, Commercial Road, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0LX. Your payment must be by cheque or postal order, crossed and made payable to Shetland Islands Council. A receipt will not be given unless requested.
