Mareel - New Cinema & Music Venue

The main contractor for the Mareel project is DITT Construction Ltd of Lerwick.

The contract sum is £10,022,019.

The start date was in July 2009 with completion in early 2011.

Mareel is a Shetland Arts Development Agency project.

Shetland Islands Council is a funding partner.
