Support for new staff and volunteers

Ensure new staff, volunteers or helpers receive support when they start and are aware of how your group functions. You can achieve this through discussion but also ensure they

 

• Have a copy of your code of conduct

• Have read your equal opportunities policy

• Understand your child protection procedures

• Are aware of any relevant health and safety procedures they should follow

• Know who in the group / organisation they should contact if they have any concerns about issues relating to the group or organisation
