Introduction

It’s everyone’s responsibility to keep children safe.

 

• This site provides information and sample documents for you to use to help you meet the new Scottish Executive Framework for Standards, the legal requirements of the Protection of Children (Scotland) Act 2003 and to achieve best practice for those who provide activities, care for, or work with children

• There are standard documents and forms that you are welcome to download from this site and use or adapt for your needs.

• Guidance on the new areas of legislation and recommended action that you should take is outlined but it is important that you satisfy yourself that what you choose to implement will meet the requirements of the legislation.
