Flood Plan consultation

Draft National Flood Plan and Shetland Local Flood Risk Management Plan - Public Consultation will be live from 30th July until 30 October 2021.

SEPA will host a joint consultation on their National Flood Plan and the Scottish local authorities Local Flood Plans running for 3 months from Friday 30th July until Sunday 31st October.  We will be seeking your comments as this will help inform the finalised version of the Plans, including the new Local Flood Risk Management Plan (LFRMP) which the Council intend to adopt in 2022.

The consultation is for anyone who has an interest in how flooding in Scotland and Shetland is tackled and how flooding impacts communities.  For more information on how to get involved and to make your response go to the Citizen Space website at the below link:
