Box Office
Our Box Office in Reception sells tickets for events sold through the Shetland Box Office as well as for local children's activities and more.
Tickets can be bought in person from Islesburgh Community Centre Reception or online at www.shetlandboxoffice.org. Or you can buy them over the phone by calling the box office on 01595 745 555.
The Box Office opening hours are 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week (with the exception of the Christmas shut-down period)
Florence Grains, the Council’s Spokesperson for Culture and Recreation recently said, “It’s good to see that Shetland Box Office is doing so well and sold so many tickets. I generally buy my tickets from Islesburgh where the staff are very friendly and helpful, but I am also pleased to see that the online sales are starting to grow as well.”
Do you have an event to sell?
Since going live on 3 October 2008 Shetland Box Office has sold over 100,000 tickets for over 850 performances across Shetland. A total of more than 6000 people are registered to buy tickets through the box office system.
Our reception offers a Box Office Facility for selling tickets for Concerts, Theatre, Film and Events held in Shetland. Bookings are also taken for Children's Activities such as Fun Factories, Summer Activities, etc.
