About Us

The Grants Unit, within the Council's Education and Social Care Department, administers a number of grant aid schemes designed to support, enhance and develop the contribution that the community and voluntary sector can make to the quality of life for people in Shetland.

The Grants Unit also act works as agents for the Shetland Charitable Trust and administers some of their grant aid schemes. For more information about funding available please click on the menu bar on the right.
