Community Energy Efficiency Programme (CEEP)

This new grant aid scheme is designed to help community groups that own and/or manage buildings and facilities to reduce to their energy costs.

The CEEP scheme is administered by Shetland Islands Council in partnership with Community Energy Scotland, and this new fund consists of £200,000 from the Council with match funding of £200,000 from the European LEADER programme.

The scheme can help community groups with energy efficiency measures such as draught proofing and additional insulation as well as a number of other improvements.

For more information on this new grant aid scheme please refer to the CEEP guidelines here. Alternatively you may contact your local community office or Community Energy Scotland on tel. (01595) 830206.

Groups may also complete a Group Details form (PDF 372 KB) and send to the Grants Unit. Following receipt of a completed form, an officer will contact you to discuss your proposed project in more details.
