Capital Grant Aid Scheme

There are currently two waiting lists for community groups seeking to undertake capital projects which as as follows:

Capital Grants to Voluntary Organisations - General

The "General" scheme waiting list includes proposed land based projects such as community halls, youth centres, museums and sportfields. To view the guidelines for this scheme click here (PDF 31KB).

In order to join the Capital Grant scheme waiting list groups must complete a Capital Grant Proposal Form (PDF 330KB) and submit it to the Grants Unit, 8 North Ness, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0LZ.

Capital Grants to Voluntary Organisations - Water Based Facilities

The "Water Based" waiting list includes details about proposed water based projects such as new marinas, breakwaters and community owned piers. Guidelines for the Water Based scheme are currently not available.

Please note that there is currently no budget for the water based scheme.
