"Coaching in the Game" - Level 3 Coaching Course


Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th April 2007
Gilbertson Park, Lerwick
10.00 - 4.00pm each day

SFA community coaching staff will be in Shetland on the above dates to lead an SFA “Coaching in the Game” course.

This 12-hour advanced coaching course looks at the knowledge and understanding required to help young players appreciate concepts such as width, depth and support within the small-sided game. The course is largely practical in nature and prospective coaches are required to demonstrate the ability to coach basic strategies to young players.

Applicants must be aged 16 or over and have previously completed both SFA Level One and Level Two coaching courses. The course has a large practical element and all participants should bring outdoor football kit, a packed lunch and writing materials. The course fee will be £45.00 per person.
