The Shetland Community Directory is designed to provide a common link to all the public services, voluntary organisations and community groups in Shetland.   Please note that it is not the intention of this Directory to contain details of any commercial or business organisations.

The Directory aims to be as inclusive as possible and contains contact details for a wide range of organisations and services, including health care, community groups to religious organisations.

Whether you are looking to find a sports club, religious organisation, community association, music group or public service, then this is the place to look.

You can locate the group you are interested in by several means. If you know the Category that it is likely to belong to (e.g. Schools) you can browse the categories.

Each group is also assigned to the geographical area in which it operates so if you want to find all the groups in a particular area you would use this method. Any groups that operate throughout Shetland are assigned to a special Shetland area.

There is also a simple A - Z index of all groups if you already know the name that you are looking for.

Finally you can search for words that appear in the name of the group or may represent the purpose of the group.
