Remit

The role and responsibility of the CHP Committee will be to:

• Ensure the effective delivery of the functions devolved to the CHP
• Monitoring the performance of the CHP;
• Promoting organisational change and driving forward the service improvement agenda;
• A key role in making local policy decisions and influencing national priorities and opportunities for further integration of healthcare and partnership services.
• Influencing a range of plans and developing joint local service plans with partners;
• Empowering frontline staff to improve outcomes and the delivery of quality services within a clear accoutnability framework;
• Ensuring compliance with corporate, clinical and staff governance standards;
• Developing care governance standards for services jointly managed.
