Remit

To provide an inter agency strategic overview of the planning, provision and quality of services for children, young people and their families.
To act as a source of information, support and direction in the analysis of needs for Shetland's children and young people.
To actively seek, value and utilise the views and experiences of current and past service users.
To act as the overseeing, inter-agency body in the development of Better Integrated Services for Children's and Young People, able to receive delegated powers from the constituent organisations to take forward the Integrated Agenda.
To receive referral and direction for work from the executive bodies of its constituent parts and to itself pass recommendations back to them
