Draft Supplementary Planning Guidance - Energy Efficiency and Wind Energy
Shetland Islands Council has produced draft guidance, which provides more detailed advice relating energy efficiency and wind energy technologies, called Supplementary Planning Guidance, which expands on the policies in the Shetland Structure Plan.
The Draft Guidance is the subject of formal consultation which has now ended. This the first consultation and there will be a chance to make comments in the future.
After consideration and final approval, it will be taken into account in determining planning applications.
The Policies and supporting text included in the Supplementary Planning Guidance will be included in the revised future development plans.
