Background           

  • In 2008, a design was developed to site the new Anderson High at the Knab site.
  • Due to concerns raised around accessibility and disruption to pupils learning the Council decided to consider alternative sites.
  • In November 2009, the Council decided that the preferred option for the relocation of the Anderson High School is a site at the Lower Staney Hill.
