What to do after an Emergency

You will know that the emergency is over, as it will be announced on the local Radio Stations.

If you have not been able to check on a vulnerable neighbour because of the emergency, please do so now.

If your property has suffered any damage, rope off or protect the damaged areas to prevent injury from falling masonry and broken glass. Electrical cables should be dealt with by a qualified individual. You will need to contact your insurance company to have the damage assessed and complete a claim.

If you have lost any of your utilities, contact the relevant company.
