Health Certificates

Health certificates and certificates of origin are issued for foodstuffs, predominately fish, being exported from Shetland to outwith the European Union.

The number and variety of cerfificates are great and are dependant on the destination country .

At least 24 hours notice must be given when a certificate is required as this allows time for the preparation of the certificates and in some cases, an inspection of the product to be carried out.
