Applicants

We are gather information anonymously on our application process. This is to make sure it can be kept easily understood for Applicants, by gathering feedback to take into account when making improvements.

SIC and HHA operate a joint housing register (housing list). We monitor what our applicants think of the Application Form and the service they received in relation to making an application for housing.

From April 2010 to March 2011 we received a total of 284 application feedback forms.

89% (249) of our applicants found the form easy to complete.

94% (260) of our applicants found the Areas of Choice questions easy to complete.

87% (231) of our applicants think we ask the right questions for their circumstances.

54% (149) applicants got their application form from the SIC, and 46% (129) from Hjaltland.

96% (136) applicants rated the service received from staff at SIC Housing as Good or Very Good, and 95% (114) applicants rated the service received from staff at Hjaltland as Good or Very Good.

93% (105) applicants rated the advice, information and assistance from SIC as Good or Very Good, and 94% (93) applicants rated the advice, information and assistance from Hjaltland as Good or Very Good.

Of all applications received for housing, 86% of applicants were applying to both SIC and Hjaltland, and 14% were applying to SIC only.
