Streets Ahead

The Streets Ahead Directory is a comprehensive 26 booklet directory produced by the Scottish Council for Single Homeless. Containing a national and locaI directory, it has been created in partnership with various agencies including the Scottish Executive, housing bodies and youth organisations.  

The Streets Ahead Directory aims to provide useful information and points of contact to young people leaving home. Information in the directory has been gathered from local service providers, and covers Community and Youth Organisations, Education and Careers, Housing and Homelessness, Social Care, Job Centre Plus, Support and Help and Health Issues.  Agencies included in the directory cover topics such as leaving home, personal safety in the home, money matters, living with friends, sexual issues, leaving local authority care, housing and tenancy advice and homelessness.
