Homelessness Duty System

The Housing Service operates a duty homeless system during office hours. Anyone who contacts the office who thinks they may be homeless within 2 months will be seen on the same day by the Duty Housing Officer. Our duty system is designed to ensure that applicants can see a Housing Officer as quickly as practicable. Out of hours homeless assistance is provided via the Council's Duty Social Work service and is available 24 hours a day.

Hours that the Duty Sytem operates are:

Open Monday to Thursday 9am-1pm and 2-5pm, and Friday 9am-1pm and 2-4pm.
