Summer Reading Challenge 2023
The Shetland Library successfully concluded the Summer Reading Challenge and Mini-Challenge 2023, with a sports and games theme. The event featured engaging library activities, such as colouring competitions and scavenger hunts, and encouraged participants to read six books over the summer.
The Summer Reading Challenge welcomed primary school-aged bairns, while the Mini-Challenge was designed for pre-schoolers. Online registration was available.
There was the medal ceremony at 10:30 am on Saturday, 12 August, followed by a photo session at 11:00 am.
