Islesburgh Pre-school enjoy a "Right Wee Blether"
Islesburgh Pre-school Group held a special coffee morning on Friday to show parents the work the children have completed as part of the “Right Wee Blether” campaign
The children have each made a special booklet called a “Wee book about me”, where they drew pictures and completed worksheets to answer questions like:
- How are you feeling today?
- What makes you smile?
- Who is special to you?
- You are given a special star, where would you put it?
- What would you like to change?
The “Right Wee Blether” campaign was fronted by Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People, Tam Baillie and ran from 12 September to 31 October this year. It involved children between the ages of 2 and 5 and asked them to engage in a creative conversation that will inform the Commissioner’s work over the next four years.
