New Head Teacher for Whalsay School
Shetland Islands Council’s Children's Services has appointed Mr Robin Calder to take up the post of Head Teacher of Whalsay School.
Mr Calder started work with Shetland Islands Council in 2001 as a history teacher in the Anderson High School.
In 2007 he was appointed to his current post of Principal Teacher of pupil support in the Anderson High School.
It is expected the he will take up post on 28 November.
