December Grant Awards
Local voluntary organisations throughout Shetland have been awarded a total of £18,559.00 in funding from Shetland Islands Council Grant Aid Scheme, towards a range of community projects and activities. A total of 13 grants have been awarded during the month of December - see attached appendix.
The total cost of these projects is £36,807.54, with matched funding of £18,248.54 being secured from other sources. These projects, which are managed by volunteers, significantly improve the quality of life for all living in Shetland and support the local economy.
