Shetland winners at Lantra LOTY Awards
Modern Apprentice Jakob Eunson won the Learner of the Year award in the Agriculture category at the Lantra Scotland awards ceremony in Dunblane last night.
John Blance, who has completed his Modern Apprenticeship in Aquaculture, was runner up in the Aquaculture Category, with the winning spot taken by Jack Fraser, an aquaculture apprentice working in Fort William.
Awards were presented by Adam Henson, BBC Country file presenter and farmer.
Jakob works at Uradale Farm and his apprenticeship is co-ordinated and run by Train Shetland. John is now employed by Greig Seafood Shetland and his apprenticeship was co-ordinated by NAFC Marine Centre UHI.
