Appointment to Post of Head Teacher - Scalloway Junior High School
Following an interview session head yesterday, Monday 4 October, the Education Service is delighted to announce that Mrs Joyce Gear has been appointed to the post of Head Teacher at Scalloway Junior High School.
Mrs Gear has had a long career with Shetland Islands Council's Education Service and has worked in both the secondary and the primary sectors. From August 2003 to August 2004 she was Depute Head at Scalloway Junior High School and from August 2004, she has been Acting Head Teacher of the school.
The Education Service now looks forward to a continued productive working relationship with the management of Scalloway Junior High School.
