'Anderson High School Reading Week 2005'
The Anderson High School library will be hosting a number of reading related events in the week beginning 5th September. These will take place throughout the school, and include a Shetland storytelling session, 'My favourite book' by staff and members of the community, 'Get Caught Reading' competition and a sponsored read for charity.
Statistics show that the peak age for reading in Shetland is twelve years old. It is hoped that these events will promote more reading in the 12 to 18 age group.
