Library Celebrates National Bookstart Day
Shetland Library marked National Bookstart Day on the 7th of October with a teddy bears' picnic, whch was attended by 25 adults and 30 babies and toddlers. All the children had been invited to bring their own teddies along, and as well as the usual Bookstart rhyme and story session, there was a "Name the Bears" competition. The winner will be announced at the next Bookstart session on the 10th of November.
