Interim Head of Education
Following interviews held yesterday Shetland Islands Council can confirm that an appointment has been made as Interim Head of Education.
Neil Galbraith, a former Director of Education and Leisure then acting Chief Executive of the Western Isles Council, will take up this post in early November for approximately 6 months.
Mr Galbraith has extensive experience of strategic and high level management in the public sector, and was awarded an OBE in 1995 for services to education.
