Stitch and Chat at the library
It is the 100th Anniversary of the Embroiderers’ Guild, and as part of the celebrations Shetland Library is to host a Stitch and Chat day on Saturday 29 April. The Guild is not just about embroidery, but all kinds of fabric crafts. Members will be in the library on Saturday to demonstrate their skills and answer questions. They shall have a small kit to demonstrate and sell materials for, if you want to get started, as well as personal projects to sew and talk about. It is also a chance to browse the library’s collection of craft books. Everyone is welcome: just pop into the library between 11am and 4pm.
