Summer Holiday Programme Released
With two weeks to go before local schools break up for summer, details of the holiday programme for children across Shetland have now been announced.
The programme includes those activities offered by Shetland Recreational Trust; Shetland Museum and Archives; and the Council’s Youth Work, Active Schools and Outdoor Education teams. Also on offer this year is a youth sailing programme delivered by the Royal Yachting Association and Delting Boating Club.
Activities are available for children of all ages and include sport, music, dance, outdoor adventures and arts and crafts. Full details of the programmes are shown on leaflets that are available in local leisure centres and other public outlets. Electronic copies of these leaflets are also available online at:

The production of the holiday programme information has been co-ordinated by the Council’s Sport & Leisure Service.
