'Touching Tiny Lives Campaign'
Paddington Bear celebrated his 50th Anniversary with Nursery and Primary 1-2 pupils at Aith Junior High School on Thursday 5th June. The event ‘Bring your Bear’ raised money for the ‘Touching Tiny Lives Campaign’ of which Paddington is the mascot.
The day was organised by School Library Assistant Jane Spall and Primary 1-2 Teacher Sheila Clifton.
The children were given the opportunity to take their favourite bear to school for the day in return for a small donation. During the day pupils participated in fun, games, educational activities, story telling, raffle and a Teddy Bears picnic. The total amount raised was £305.20Ends …….
