New Mutual Exchange Option for Shetland Islands Council and
Hjaltland Housing Association tenants
Shetland Islands Council Housing Service and Hjaltland Housing Association are pleased to announce a new free mutual exchange option for their tenants. Both organisations have signed up to a partnership agreement with Homeswapper, the UK’s leading mutual exchange service. The service is web-based and easy to use. Homeswapper can be used to find house swaps between tenants both within Shetland and nationally. The Council and Hjaltland would encourage any tenants who require alternative accommodation to register with the system as it may improve their options for finding a move. Tenants wishing to access the service can do so by logging on to www.homeswapper.co.uk Any tenant who does not have access to a computer can use the public access PC’s at the Housing Service in Fort Road, at Hjaltland HA at Greenhead or at the Shetland Tenants Forum, 1a Water Lane, Lerwick.
