Atlantic Ferries Limited
Following an evaluation of submitted tenders for the operation of the Inter-Island Ferry Service between Shetland mainland and Foula, Atlantic Ferries Limited has been chosen by Shetland Islands Council as the preferred bidder.
Atlantic Ferries limited is a Shetland based company with its office in Lerwick.
The new service, with an autumn handover planned, will be expected to increase the number of sailings on the route.
Shetland Islands Council shall announce further details of the contract and the agreed handover date, when discussions with the preferred bidder have been concluded and a contract signed.
