Press Release - Junior Road Safety Officers annual presentation
Shetland Islands Council’s annual presentation to Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO) takes place at the Lerwick Town Hall this Friday 22nd June at 11.00am.
JRSOs from primary schools throughout Shetland will be attending to show what they have been doing to promote road safety in their schools and within their communities during the last year. They will then be presented with a small token in recognition of their hard work by Councillor Michael Stout, Chair of the Road Safety Advisory Panel.
The JRSOs are senior primary pupils who promote road safety in their schools. Previous JRSO days have seen a wide range of presentations, including plays, stop-frame animation cartoons and songs.
