Information Bulletin
Information from the Council
The Council is currently involved in providing everyone in Shetland with information about the way it has performed over the last year. This is part of a drive from the Scottish Government to ensure that all local authorities are informing the public about the services they provide.
Detailed information about the Council’s performance has been published on the Council’s internet site at http://www.shetland.gov.uk/performance/documents/SPI2007-08.pdf
This information is the Council’s Statutory Performance Indicators for 2007-08, which provides standards of performance achieved by the Council compared to 2006-07.
It covers a wide range of areas, such as the percentage of care staff who are qualified to sickness absence rates across the council.
This publication is also available in large print and tape, and can be translated on request, by contacting the Policy Unit: policy@shetland.gov.uk or by phoning 01595 743728.
