Home Help Service

This service is for vulnerable people of all ages providing practical help and care to people living at home.

Help is provided to meet individual needs which are assessed by the Home Care Organiser from Social Care Services. Help may include:

• personal care such as washing, feeding or dressing
• help with shopping, paying bills
• prompting and giving advice
• preparation of meals
• laundry
• lighting fires
• cleaning

This service would not normally be provided when there is an able-bodied person in the house. There is currently no charge for this service.
