The Shetland Structure Plan 2001-2016
The Shetland Structure Plan sets out a vision for the future of
the islands based on discussion with the public and with the many other
organisations with which the Council works. It's in two parts.
The Structure Plan Written Statement contains policies
relating to land use that are intended to help realise that vision.
The Report of Survey contains the factual material on
which the Plan is based, together with summaries of government guidance, a
guide to financial assistance and a jargon-busting glossary.
