Outdoor Sports Pitches
We have a number of high quality outdoor facilities in Lerwick. These can be booked throughout the summer season, which generally take place between April and September. Outdoor spaces are as follows:
- Gilbertson Park football Pitch
- Seafield football Pitch
- Clickimin 1 football pitch
- Clickimin 2 football pitch
- Clickimin 3 football pitch
- Clickimin 4 football pitch
- Clickimin Rugby pitch
In addition and also available to book, is an artificial cricket wicket. This is located between Clickimin Rugby pitch and Clickimin 4 football pitch. Situated at the Gilbertson Park there is also a small "Kick-about" area, which is a non-bookable space designated for informal use by children and families. For further information, or to book any of these areas please contact Sport & Leisure at Hayfield House, 01595 744006, or complete and return an Outdoor Booking Application Form . Pitch bookings are taken in the run up to the forth coming outdoor season during February and March, and throughout the summer months. All pitches with the exception of the Clickimin Rugby pitch, are closed during the winter period.

Which is updated daily during the summer period
Although mainly used for sporting purposes the Gilbertson Park can also be used for community events such as galas, fun day's and festivals, for more information on these types of events please email sportandleisure@shetland.gov.uk
