The Trading Standards Service's overall policy is to maintain and develop a fair, safe and equitable trading environment in Shetland.

Our service plan sets out how we aim to implement that overall policy, and gives details of the resources available to us.

It also explains how we seek to engage with the local community, and how we report on our activities and performance.

Our other two main policy documents cover advice & education and enforcement.
