Bus services – 6th April 2021

Most public bus services are currently suspended and the continued combination of wind and snowy conditions are likely to continue to impact on bus and inter-island ferry services throughout the day.

Update at 2.45pm, Tuesday 6th April 2021

Winds are expected to increase during the day and the Met Office has a Yellow warning of wind for Shetland in place from 12 noon until 1700 hours. Suspension of bus services is likely when wind gusts exceed 60 mph.

Service 4 (Lerwick-Scalloway) - PARTIAL SERVICE
Partial service operation this afternoon. Buses will depart the Viking Bus Station at 1415 and 1715 only. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER SERVICES AFTER THIS TODAY.

Service 6 (Lerwick-Sumburgh) - CANCELLED
Service cancelled. There will be no further services today.

Service 9 (Lerwick-Walls) - SUSPENDED UNTIL 1715
Service suspended until 1715. The1715 service will operate with a small vehicle. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER SERVICES TODAY.

Service 12 (Lerwick-Aith) - CANCELLED
Service cancelled. There will be no further services today.

Service 19 (Lerwick-Vidlin) - CANCELLED
Service cancelled. There will be no further services today.

Service 21 (Lerwick-Hillswick) - CANCELLED
Service cancelled. There will be no further services today.

Service 23 (Lerwick-Toft) - CANCELLED
Service cancelled. There will be no further services today.

Service 24Y (Yell) - CANCELLED
Service cancelled. There will be no further services today.
