housing options guide
Shetland’s Housing Options Guide was produced in partnership with Shetland Islands Council, Shetland Tenants' Forum, Hjaltland Housing Association and Shetland Citizens Advice Bureau, and funded by HomePoint, Communities Scotland (now part of The Scottish Government). The guide has been extensively updated and amended since the original version was produced in 1998 and is now provided online.
We provide accessible and reliable information on the housing options that are available in Shetland as well as information on a range of housing issues. The guide is also designed to be of use to local agencies that provide housing information and advice.
There are also public access PC's available in SIC Housing, Hjaltland Housing Association and the Shetland Tenants Forum to help you find information on your housing options. Please ask at Reception for more information on how to register to use these.
