To help all users access and navigate our content, we’ve included tips and tools below. Many of these can be used with your keyboard, browser, or operating system.
Keyboard Navigation Tips
You can browse our website without a mouse using your keyboard:
- Press Tab to move forward between links, buttons, and form fields.
- Press Shift + Tab to move backward.
- Press Enter to activate a selected link or button.
- Use Arrow keys to scroll up/down or navigate menus.
If your device supports it, enabling “keyboard focus indicators” in your settings can help you see where you are on the page.
Adjusting Font Size
You can change the text size in most web browsers:
- Windows/Linux: Press Ctrl and + to increase size, Ctrl and − to decrease.
- Mac: Press Cmd and + / Cmd and −.
- You can also adjust text size in your browser settings under Appearance or Fonts.
Colour Contrast and Display Modes
If you find some colours or backgrounds difficult to read:
- Use your operating system’s high contrast mode (e.g. Windows: Settings > Accessibility > Contrast Themes).
- On macOS/iOS, go to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size and enable Increase Contrast or Smart Invert.
- Some browsers and extensions (like Chrome’s “High Contrast” add-on) let you customise contrast settings directly.
Zoom and Text Resizing
You can zoom into any part of the website to make it easier to read:
- Ctrl + mouse scroll or Ctrl + + / − (Windows/Linux)
- Cmd + mouse scroll or Cmd + + / − (Mac)
This works on all major browsers and does not affect the functionality of the website.
